Support Services Group is looking for a Junior Security Administrator to join our team. This role will focus on policy writing, compliance management, and responding to security questionnaires. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cybersecurity, excellent writing skills, and the ability to implement security policies effectively. Experience in BPO environments is a definite plus.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI, HiTrust and SOC through audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with teams to address security questionnaire inquiries from clients and partners.
- Research emerging security threats and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor Security Alerts
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with policy writing and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI, HiTrust and SOC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong English language skills.
- Experience in BPO environments is a plus.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISA are advantageous
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) is beneficial.
